ABOUT JEFF GONZALEZ

Jeff Gonzalez is running for re-election in California’s 36th Assembly District. Jeff is a dedicated and experienced leader, with a distinguished 21-year career in the United States Marine Corps. Jeff served in combat zones on four occasions, including Iraq and Afghanistan. This experience provided a clear and deep understanding of the challenges our nation faces. His commitment to service extended beyond combat, as he served on Embassy Protection missions in Honduras and the Czech Republic, working closely with former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Following an illustrious military career, Jeff transitioned to a role as a local pastor, exemplifying his dedication to community service. Currently, he is a small business owner for three different companies. Jeff actively contributes to the community by serving on multiple local nonprofit boards. This diverse background underscores Jeff’s commitment to making a positive impact at both local and national levels.

FAMILY

Jeff is married to an incredible woman and has four children. Three are adults, and his youngest son just graduated High School this Spring and is off to college in the fall. His oldest son is physically and mentally challenged and lives with Jeff and his wife for caregiver support.
